Cyber resilience and data protection solutions provider Commvault has appointed Jill Macmurchy as its chief customer officer for the Asia-Pacific region and, earlier this year, Craig Bastow as its area vice-president for Australia and New Zealand (ANZ).
Based out of ANZ, Macmurchy will drive customer success and innovation across Asia-Pacific, helping organizations achieve their modernisation goals. She brings a wealth of leadership experience from senior leadership roles at Confluent and New Relic, with deep technical expertise across solutions engineering and pre-sales.
Bastow has over a decade of experience at Commvault; and with his comprehensive expertise in the ANZ technology sector, including IT trade and public sector, he has been instrumental in strengthening regional operations and customer engagement.
These appointments, the company says, come at a critical time as organizations across ANZ navigate an increasingly complex market landscape, characterized by rising cyber threats, stringent regulatory requirements and a growing need for resilient, scalable data protection solutions.
Martin Creighan, the company’s vice-president for Asia-Pacific, adds: “These new strategic roles advance our mission and reinforce our commitment to our customers.”
