MariBank, Amova launch S$1 Singapore equity fund
Strategy focuses on companies with high and sustainable dividend yields
The Asset   24 Mar 2026

MariBank, a digital bank wholly owned by Sea Limited and licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore ( MAS ), has launched an equity fund that enables its customers to invest as little as S$1 ( 77 US cents ) in Singapore equities with no transaction fees.

The bank is partnering with Amova Asset Management to distribute the Amova Singapore Dividend Equity Fund ( SGD Class ), which invests primarily in equities listed on the Singapore Exchange, including non-Straits Times Index ( FTSE STI ) component stocks, as well as selected overseas-listed equities with similar characteristics. The fund has S$2.63 billion in assets under management as of February 28.

Currently in an invite-only phase, the fund will be distributed under the Mari Invest Singapore Equity and will open to the public via the MariBank app starting in early April 2026.

Designed for income-seeking investors, the fund targets a monthly distribution of between 5% and 7% per annum of the net asset valie per unit. The strategy focuses on companies with high and sustainable dividend yields and those with the potential for strong dividend growth.

Amova balances these holdings with investments in companies characterized by undervalued positive fundamental change, specifically targeting “New Singapore” firms within sectors such as data, logistics, infrastructure, financial services, technology, and the energy transition.

Amova Singapore Dividend Equity Fund is managed by Tokyo-headquartered Amova Asset Management Asia Limited ( formerly Nikko Asset Management Asia Limited ), one of six appointed managers under the MAS’ Equity Market Development Programme ( EQDP ). First announced in May 2025, the S$6.5 billion EQDP aims to increase the competitiveness of the local equities market while unlocking potential in mid and small caps.

MariBank chief executive officer Natalia Goh says: “Making investing accessible is core to our mission as a digital bank. With just S$1 and no transaction fees, customers can now participate in Singapore’s equities market through a long-established dividend-focused fund. This reflects our commitment to lowering barriers and helping customers grow their wealth confidently.

“Having invested through various economic and liquidity cycles over more than 25 years, Amova Asset Management has consistently demonstrated high discipline and delivered strong results, making them a natural partner for us.”

Mari Invest Singapore Equity expands MariBank’s growing suite of investment products, including Mari Invest Gold, Mari Invest Income and Mari Invest SavePlus. To date, approximately one in three MariBank customers have invested in at least one MariBank investment product.
