Investment manager Matthews has appointed Beonca Yip as head of Asia-Pacific. In her role, she will continue to expand the firm’s growing client base and tailor investment solutions to meet the needs of investors in the region.      

Yip has over 28 years of experience in senior distribution leadership roles, servicing institutional asset owners and advisory channel clients across Asia-Pacific.

Previously, she led the distribution and client service teams at China Asset Management where she was managing director, head of global client group based in Beijing. Prior to that, she held senior roles including head of advisor business – Asia at Investec Asset Management and head of retail sales in Asia and Europe at Eastspring Investments.
