The UN Principles for Responsible Investment (PRI), an international organization that works to promote the incorporation of environment, social and corporate governance (ESG) factors, has appointed Kazuma Osaki as the head of its Asia-Pacific policy.
Osaki, who has done an exemplary job, the organization says, working in this role on an interim basis in recent months, has proven to be a leader with a steady hand and deep expertise in the region. His permanent appointment will allow the organization, it notes, to move forward more decisively and effectively with its policy-related initiatives and goals in the region.
Osaki will continue to be based in Sydney, supported by PRI’s regional policy team in Asia-Pacific.
Consistent with PRI’s Responsible Investment Ecosystems regional policy model, Osaki will also continue to work closely with the global policy team, and regional policy teams in other regions.
